The activity is a family outing patterned along the lines of the traditional Hash Runs but oriented towards young participants. Ages for the children range from 2 years old till 16.If you want to join, just come to the run site with your kids. You do not need to sign up. Look for the next run location in the Hash Calendar

Generally, the venues are within an hour's drive of Kobe and the trails are beach, mountain or country side. For most of today's children who grow up in an urban environment, these Runs provide many opportunitiesto see nature, birds, plants and perhaps wild boars and other wonders of nature - not to mention a chance to get a little bit muddy!
Any family can join the Kobe Junior Hash House Harriers and we usually get a mixture of Japanese and foreigners. There is no minimum agelimit - there will parents who carry babies on their backs! In order to join, a family should first attend a Run as a guest (fees are 500 Yen per child above 3 years old per run for guests). A for membership during the following Run (Annual subscription for members is planned to be 4000 Yen per child).

The Juniorh Hash is not a race.
The Junior Hash is not a race, it is a leasurly event for the family that provides the oportunity to be outside and meet some new friends. The children follow the trail set out with chalk or flour markings. The faster runners will usually run into checks where they need find out the continuation of the trail. The checks keep the pack together and all the kids enjoy to find the right trail.
Enjoy and have Fun!
